Nishant Chauhan, the son of Shri Dilip Chauhan, is a budding entrepreneur and the third generation of a prosperous farming family. Born and raised in Chhattisgarh, he has always had a strong interest in agriculture and a keen desire to innovate.

To achieve his goals, he gained a bachelor's degree in Plant Molecular Biology and Plant Tissue Culture from Manipal University  and a Master's degree in Plant Genetics and Crop Improvement from University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom

Subsequently he established AKF Plant Sciences, a Tissue Culture Lab which develops protocols and commercially produces TC crops such as bananas, pineapples, ginger and more.

Mr. Dilip Chauhan

Dilip Chauhan, one of India's most notable farmers and a pioneer in many fields, began his career when he was just 18 years old. Coming from a farming background, he swiftly grasped the reins and tripled the company's earnings and efficiencies by employing excellent horticulture procedures. His scientific attitude and sound understanding of agriculture enabled him to introduce and experiment with novel crops such as Date Palm. He continues his CSR commitments as the member-director of Naveen BeejBhandar, a non profit that works for farmers’ welfare.

Mr. Suryabhan Patel

Senior Production Executive

As a key technical person, Suryabhan Patel handles various activities related to the production of over 20 million plants, undertakes tissue culture technician’s' training, executes new product development activity and ensures tissue culture plant quality-control. He brings to the table 4+ years of experience in tissue culture operations and has excellent interpersonal skills. Suryanbhan has a Masters Degree in Microbiology from MATS University, Raipur. 

Mr. Biswaranjan Sahoo

Sales Coordinator

Mr. Biswaranjan Sahoo undertakes a key role of ensuring systematic execution of our company protocols, handling customer accounts, liaising with vendors and managing stores, ensuring timely delivery to customers etc. An all-rounder, Mr. Biswaranjan Sahoo has both a B. Com degree as well as an LLB, and over 20 years of experience in marketing, administration and accounts.

Accounts Coordinator

Punit Chauhan has been more than an accounts coordinator at AKF Plant Sciences; He’s a jack-of-all trades who likes to help out with all departments in the company. Punit has a B.Com from Chhattisgarh and is currently gaining experience before he decides in a specialisation. 

Mr. Ishan Belchandan

Nursery and Greenhouse Manager

Ishan Belchandan is a B.Sc.Agriculture graduate from Bhartiya Collage of Agriculture, Durg (C.G) and has over 4 years of experience in tissue culture greenhouse management. With a deep understanding of agriculture and a post graduate degree in computer application, he strives to use IT to improve process in farm and crop management.

Mr. Hemraj Mahanand

Accountant

Hemraj Mahanand has been more than an accounts at AKF Plant Sciences; He’s a jack-of-all trades who likes to help out with all departments in the company. Hemraj has a B.Com from Chhattisgarh and is currently gaining experience before he decides in a specialisation.
